Sunshine's dream

Sunshine is a Burmese refugee in Thailand. This is her dream, in her own words:

"The first time when I know myself, I think about my future and I asked myself that what do you want to be in your future? I answer myself that I want to be a richest person in the world. When I enough grow up I asked myself again the same question but at that time my mind was change another that was very different with the first time, I want to be a leader in my village.

Because in my village most of government staffs were Burmese people and they always talk in their language but most of our villagers could not speak/ understand their language. That why they always criticized and looked down us. They did not care the villager and they did whatever they want.

When I was primary student I faced with many problems such as because of poor
Burmese speaking I could not understand the lessons but I was very afraid to ask
teachers because they did not patient to me. I tried to pass exam year by year finally I could graduate in Burma University. Until now, my dream is not change and stronger then before especially when I here about my childhood village..."

You can help Sunshine achieve her dream by donating through the Big Give at 10am on the 6th December.
